Prerequisite

To access the Discharge Plan - Railcar Visit form you must have the Unload Plan - Railcar Visit (RAIL_UNLOAD_PLAN_RAILCAR_VISIT) privilege.

The Discharge Plan - Railcar Visit form is auto populated with a ‘unload’ Work Queue of type discharge with Pos Loc type that is Train or Railcar. If you select a railcar that is associated with a train visit that is in the Inbound or Through visit phase (this means that the cargo is ready to be unloaded), all the cargo lots that are currently unplanned get planned based on the yard position selection algorithm. If the slots are fully planned or occupied, a plan is created to the default position defined in the setting CGOGENERAL_CARGO_PLANNING001 (DFLT_POS_DISCHARGE).

The yard position selection algorithm is based on the storage handling code and the available slots mentioned in the cargo allocation range. If the slots are fully planned or occupied, the plan is created to the position defined in the setting CGOGENERAL_CARGO_PLANNING001 (DFLT_POS_DISCHARGE).

N4 decides the planned position based on the yard position selection algorithm based on the storage handling code and the available slots mentioned in the cargo allocation range. If the slots are fully planned or occupied, the plan is created to the default position defined in the setting CGOGENERAL_CARGO_PLANNING001 (DFLT_POS_DISCHARGE) (on page 1).
